Oreo is a very special 8 year old girl that was brought into another humane society after she was diagnosed with diabetes. At first there was hope that her diabetes could be managed through diet, however her incredibly high blood glucose levels needed to be brought under control. She is currently an insulin dependent diabetic and receives twice daily injections of Lantus. Please be sure to check back on Oreo's progress as we will having exciting updates soon!
